From: Morocco / The Netherlands

DJ style: “EDM pop.”

Best known for: “EDM bangers.”

In 2023, R3HAB once again had voters grooving with his smash revival of SASH!’s 1997 hit ‘Rock My Body’ alongside Romanian vocalist, INNA. The sexy dancefloor filler arrived via Spinnin’ Records earlier this spring and sees the Top 100 DJ perpetuate one of the year’s most familiar trends — transforming classic club nostalgia into modern EDM heat. Never one to slow down, the Morocco-born producer says his past 12 months played out largely on the road, where he appeared at massive festivals like Tommorowland and France’s Stereoparc, in addition to gracing countless other stages across Asia, South America and the US. Despite his busy touring schedule, he still managed to keep up with his regular CYB3RPVNK Radio Show, spotlighting the best in big room house and heart-pumping club cuts — and that’s where listeners may have got an inkling of what’s on the horizon. It’s hard to fathom how he fits it all in, but R3HAB also tells DJ Mag that he’s been wrapping new music for his upcoming third studio album — his first since 2018’s ‘The Wave’. Then again, we suppose that’s the kind of diligence possessed  by artists who consistently crest top 20 — that’s where R3HAB’s been soaring for seven years and counting.
