Lucas & Steve’s productions and DJ sets pull some serious numbers – but this Dutch duo are all about maximising the fun along the way. The past twelve months have been no exception, as the house titans played the first ever set on the Rotterdam subway, had a fan join them as a tour member for a day, and created an intro track for their debut Ultra Miami set within 24 hours of the show. 

Amidst the escapades, Lucas & Steve have also returned to their producing A-game with tracks like ‘Careful What You Wish For (feat. Alida’) and ‘Best Of Me (feat. Philip Strand)’. Easily the pick of the bunch, however, is the Robert Miles-sampling ‘After Midnight’. Despite being on the outskirts of their comfort zone, the dark trance hit – produced alongside Yves V, and featuring Xoro – has become one of the pair’s most enduring tunes since 2021’s ‘Anywhere With You’. It also formed the epicentre of a summer of career-topping festival sets, including Airbeat One, Tomorrowland, Parookaville and more.

Giving new meaning to the ‘work hard, play hard’ adage, the best pal duo continue to dominate the international house continuum, with the help of a playful mindset and a lot of tequila.
