Peggy Gou's Gudu records announces new compilation with Mogwaa, Matisa, Jordan Nocturne, more
'Gudu & Friends Vol. 2' is out on 2nd May
Peggy Gou's Gudu Records is lining up the second release in its 'Gudu & Friends' compilation series.
Spanning nine tracks, 'Gudu & Friends Vol. 2' takes in label debuts from Alinka, Gina Breeze, Jordan Nocturne (featuring Coco Cole), Minju and Nyra, as well as new cuts from Hiver, Mogwaa, Dukwa and Matisa, who've previously put out music with the imprint.
Each instalment of the 'Gudu & Friends' series comes with artwork tied into the lunar new year, with illustrator Jin Young Choi, who also illustrates the art for the Gudu Mix series, representing the year of the dragon on this latest release.
Out on 2nd May, 'Gudu & Friends Vol. 2' will be released digitally and on cassette.

'Vol. 2' follows on from the first 'Gudu & Friends' compilation, which was released last May and featured tracks by Closet Yi, Salamanda, DMX Krew and others.
Earlier this month, Peggy Gou shared details of her debut album, 'I Hear You', which XL will release in June.
