DJ MAG WEEKLY PODCAST: CRIMES OF THE FUTURE

Timothy J. Fairplay and Scott Fraser spin for DJ Mag

For this week’s DJ Mag podcast we’ve got an exclusive live back-to-back set from Crimes Of The Future — AKA Timothy J. Fairplay and Scott Fraser — recorded at their very first Crimes Of The Future event at the Yard in Hackney Wick.

Timothy J. Fairplay also moonlights as Haunted Doorbell alongside Matilda Tristram. The duo are set to release their latest EP ‘Unconnected Thoughts On Jacking’ via their Crimes Of The Future imprint, which is described as four tracks of naive melodies, rough slamjack drums, and new age atmospheres.

Expect to hear cuts from Legowelt, Paradise Box, Andrew Weatherall and Florian Kupfer from the Crimes Of The Future crew, as the duo weaves a complex tapestry of oddball techno and house. Stream the exclusive mix below or head over to DJ Mag’s Soundcloud to grab a free download now.
