Mysterious Journey Of A Lifetime

Taking Malaysians on a bigger, better and more exciting journey through the raveforests of Kuching, Mysterious World Music Festival is back in town with a three-day event that will leave EDM fans with an electronic music experience like no other. Set along the Borneo-esque setting of the Sarawak Cultural Village, with breath-taking flora and fauna as the backdrop, Mysterious World is set to deliver the true to feeling of an EDM outdoor festival to Malaysians.

Knowing that EDM fans would have to wait till August for Mysterious World to take place, the folks at Mysterious took it as an opportunity throw the most exciting club pre-party circuit ever planned by a Malaysian organizer, with parties happening in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Aptly called Journey To Mysterious World, EDM fans in Malaysia are in for fist-pumping takeovers of their favorite nightclubs by some of DJ Mag MY’s favorite international and local DJs, which will give festival revelers a peek into the exhilarating 3 days that awaits them on the 29th, 30th and 31st of August this year.

Jordan Suckley headlined the pre-party trail in front of a massive crowd at Soju KL, where fans were glued to the dance floor as he brought them on a laser-filled musical journey. Garnering praise from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold, Jordan is fast on the climb towards global acclamation, with booked shows from Ibiza to South Korea, making this trance-passionate Brit a fitting choice by Mysterious to headline their Journey to Mysterious World.

Following Jordan’s lead is Ben Gold, a prolific DJ and a trance hardhitter, Ben has gained the support of many heavy lifters in the dance music industry and is well known for his distinctive knack of being able to read the crowd and give them just what they are looking for. For a taste of what makes him Ben Gold, drop by Soju, Bukit Bintang on the 13th of February, or catch him at WorldCLUB Station Cafe & Bar, Miri on the 14th of February.

Mysterious World presents The Mysterious Angels who will be making many pit stops on their journey to Mysterious, from Sarawak and Sabah to Indonesia, showcasing local talents such as DJ Feera Z, featuring popular Ukraine talent, Christy Million. Mysterious has yet to announce the full line-up of their Mysterious Angels, but with Christy Million behind the decks with her sexy inspired house music, we are definitely sold!

The Mysterious Angels will be in World Club Station, Miri on the 6th of March, Aston Pontianak Hotel, Indonesia on the 7th, Lido Star, Kuching on the 13th, The BED Club, Kota Kinabalu on the 14th , Tawau on the 20th and lastly, in Havoc Entertainment Center, Labuan on the 21st.

Alexander Popov, a creative mind in the dance music industry stands out from the crowd with a style that is completely his own - garnering a big following through his unique take on trance and progressive mixes. If you’re down to experience the multi-faceted genre of trance, catch Alexander at Soju, Times Square Penang on the 28th of March.

Hardstylers should take note on the LOHD pre-party in Santubong, Kuching ahead of the three day festival with VtheKid, Zeng & Zarick, Theo Gobensen and Myvax Myvax steering the decks with a night of intense bass-lines and tracks. The Land of Hardstylers pre-party will be held on the 18th of April, where Hardstylerz can get a taste of what’s about to come up in August.

Last but not least, Andrew Rayel will be ending the pre-party circuit at Damai Central, Santubong on the 19th of April. The self-proclaimed Mozart of the trance scene, Andrew promises crowds a truly unique experience of euphoric tales and sonic sounds as they set sail to the land of Hornbills and electric sounds.

These Pre Party line up’s will build up festival-goers to the three day Mysterious World Music Festival that starts with A Land of Musical Colours on Day 1, dedicated to embracing the various approaches to the music scene ranging from live traditional instruments to modern electronic sounds as you are surrounded by colorful paint amidst the backdrop of the rain forest.

Day 2 is dedicated to the hardest and loudest beasts in the industry as the first Hardstyle Festival in South East Asia, aptly named A Land of Hardstyle – which will be headlined by Headhunterz, Frontliner, Coone and other leading acts.

The third day brings you A Land of Tales, the biggest trance event to hit Malaysian grounds, promising a one of a kind EDM festival experience.
