MEET THE MILLER SOUNDCLASH FINALISTS

Set to do battle in Las Vegas

We are now just one month away from the Miller SoundClash finals in Las Vegas. The 10 DJs here, each representing a different country will compete at Marquee Dayclub, for a chance to move to Marquee nightclub and play at the Top 100 DJs Party with Top 10 artists, due to be announced later this week. Time to get to know the DJs.

BAQ ON DECKS (COLOMBIA)
Kiko De Sola and Jonathan Guijarro met in Bogota’s electronic music scene and are regular spinners at BAUM club in Bogota. The duo are from Barranquilla (from which their name is derived).

  

 

 

Come & C - Miller SoundClash - Argentina by Miller Soundclash on Mixcloud

 

COME & C (ARGENTINA)
Come & C are a diverse duo who play sounds from across the electronic music spectrum - from house and progressive, right through to trance. The duo were previously known as Soulight, a deep house act who could count Dubfire among their fans.

Based out of Serowe, Botswana - DJ King has a good history in DJ competitions, having already won a large competition in his native country. He is the resident DJ on Night Crawlers Radio every Friday night.

   

 

DJ Mos - Miller SoundClash - Russia by Miller Soundclash on Mixcloud

 

DJ MBO (SWAZILAND)
MBO is already one of Swaziland’s most in- demand DJs and has shared billing with the likes of DJ Fresh and Roland Clarke in his home country. He will be bringing his trademark progressive sound to Vegas, with a view to scooping the main prize.

 

 

DJ Michal Scheffler - Miller SoundClash - Panama by Miller Soundclash on Mixcloud

 

MICHAL SCHEFFLER (PANAMA)
Representing Panama, Scheffler is inspired by deep house artists like Stimming and the technical skills of Richie Hawtin. Already a regular artist in his home city, he also enjoys international gigs at festivals across Latin America.

Miss Gem fell in love with DJ culture after watching a Tiesto live concert, and has never looked back since. She now runs a radio show every Sunday in DR and is on a mission to convert the locals into electronic music.

DJ MOS (RUSSIA)
Mos is a freestyle DJ from Novosibirsk in Russia. You can catch him dropping everything from deep house, electro and drum & bass at his high profile residencies in Moscow. We can’t wait to hear his mash-up style, poolside in Vegas.

Guille Preda has already had support from trance icon Paul Oakenfold, so will go into the competition full of confidence. He prides himself on never playing the same set, but reading the crowd to always give them a unique experience.

Ray Bizz considers himself to be a ‘battle’ DJ, so will be ready to take on the competition in Vegas. He says that performing in Las Vegas is a dream come true, and he looks forward to transferring his R&B heritage into an EDM environment.
 

 
 

 

Tom & Collins - Miller SoundClash - Wildcard - 2014 SoundClash Winner by Miller Soundclash on Mixcloud

 

TOM & COLLINS (MEXICO)
Tom & Collins were the winners of the WildCard competition on Mixcloud, beating off hundreds of entrants from around the world. The flexible DJing duo have plenty of big room experience, having warmed up for Avicii already.

 

Bagagee Viphex 13 – Miller SoundClash – South Korea by Miller Soundclash on Mixcloud

BAGGAGE VIPHEX13 (SOUTH KOREA)

Already a big name in Asia, Bagagee Viphex13 has recently rocked leading clubs including Womb in Tokyo and Ellui in his home country. He arrives in Las Vegas high on confidence following his recent collaboration with Korean vocal duo Ninado-Nanda which fuses traditional Korean music and techno.
