MISSING: BRISTOL LEGEND DJ DEREK

The legendary DJ has been missing for three weeks

Bristol legend Derek Morris, aka DJ Derek, has been missing for three weeks. His family are extremely concerned about the 73-year-old, who has played hundreds of DJ sets and worked with many high-profile artists.

The police have been informed and the case is being treated as a missing person's case.

DJ Derek has been a resident of the St Paul's area in Bristol since 1978 and became a DJ in his mid-30s. He has played sets at Glastonbury Festival and has worked with the likes of Massive Attack. He's also appeared in a Dizzee Rascal music video and is due to play a set at the Arcadia event in Queen Square in Bristol in September.

His neice Jennifer stated: “I can't sleep and am at my wits end, as I feel totally hopeless.”

If anyone has any information about Derek's whereabouts they are asked to contact the police on 101, or his niece Jennifer via Twitter @XxJenniferAmyxX
