Best Of British nominees Mak & Pasteman premiere a track from their upcoming EP
Mak & Pasteman are DJs and producers from Huddersfield who have only started producing together in 2011, Mak & Pasteman have gone from strength to strength in the underground scene, with support from Jackmaster, Loefah and Oneman. With their latest EP coming out on the 1st of December, what a better time to grab a premiere of the duo!
After having their previous EP on Materials in August, Mak & Pasteman have dug deeper into their affinity with analog equipment and put together a 4 track EP, if you have seen Mak & Pasteman over the last few months you may be familiar with some of the tracks forthcoming on the new EP already, you can catch the duo on their monthly show on Rinse FM on the first Friday of every month.
The EP has had big support from Radio 1 and Radio 6 lately and DJ Mag are very pleased to give it's readers a exclusive premiere of 'Granulate'.
"Granulate" harks back to the emotion on the last release, Jam one. Layering atmospheric vocal cuts over techno beats to build into something raw and effective.
