WHAT YOU WEARING: GREGORI KLOSMAN

We ask Gregori Klosman about his fashion

What are you wearing right now?
“I am just about to travel to L.A. so I'm wearing comfortable clothes. I’m wearing a dark grey Topman Basic shirt, black training trousers from Zara and a black and orange pair of Nike Lunarlons. I bought the shirt online, the trousers are from Zara in Vienna and the Nikes were bought in Paris.”

How would you describe your style?
I’d say neo-rock/neo-street. Most of the time black is my colour of choice, but I like to put some other colours in as well — especially during the summer. I get inspiration from fashion magazines like Elle Man, GQ etc. But also from some Instagram accounts dedicated to style such as Black Kaviar, Bourgeoisie Culture, IamVitalle. Also when I'm on tour, I can get inspiration from other DJ friends living abroad.”

Describe an outfit you remember from as far back into your childhood as possible...
I remember I was wearing a preppy outfit during the summer when I was a child, a Lacoste tee with sandals. I used to hate that.”

Who is your favourite designer?
I love Yves Saint-Laurent designs, but it is really expensive. Most of the time I like to change designers and labels, it helps you in creating your own style, and not being tied to any look in particular. It's too easy to go to the same designer shop. My mood changes three times a day, so my style changes as many times per week.”

What is your favourite boutique?
I love All Saints, Zara and Topman because I know from one country to another I will find what I need. I also love KILL CITY in L.A. As for online, I like ASOS, Army of Me. Prices are decent and if you look carefully, you can get amazing pieces of kit.”

What is your most treasured item of clothing or jewellery and why is it so precious to you?
My three layers wristband. It's a Hermes leather one, my brother bought me it for Christmas. I take it with me every time I go on tour, and never spin without it.”

What are you currently working on?
I was recently in the studio with Tommy Trash, Lucky Date, Tujamo, Chuckie, Albin Myers and Third Party, so I look forward to playing those songs out on my summer tour, and seeing the reaction. Summer is mostly about touring. I'm also playing Tomorrowland for the third time and that makes me happy. I’ve just built a studio complex in Paris so expect a lot of new music in the future.”
