Faint Rings will kick off 2024 with a new single, ‘I’ll Call You’, out later this week. Have an exclusive first listen to the track below.

For his third ever release, the Brighton-via-London-based producer serves up a slice of romping and radiant house for those daring to look ahead to festival season while winter continues to rage. Landing via Faint Rings’ own Slack Manoeuvres imprint, the cut strikes the sweet spot between dancefloor propulsion and giddy euphoria, with Julio Bashmore-esque rave chords and rubbery bass wobbles galore.

“The track originally started off as a collab with my friend and vocalist Mattii a couple of years back, with a sound inspired by the House / Deep House sound in 2012,”  he shared on the single. “The lyrics were inspired by the early beginnings of modern day relationships, the late night desire and lust we all feel when we meet someone new and the excitement of it all.”

The track follows the producer’s debut single, ‘Palmed Off’, released at the end of 2022 and bagging support from Mark Knight’s own Toolroom Radio show, and September’s ‘Relax’ which pushed his sound into increasingly bright and euphoric zones. Landing on Friday (5th January), ‘I’ll Call You’ is decidedly the Brighton upstart’s most exhilarating yet – and a gesture of much more to come.
