Daniel Kandi
Venice Beach (Anjunabeats)
As usual, faultlessly judged and accomplished melodics from Kandi. Estiva guides it in a more euphoric direction on the remix, while Yuan executes a deeper, more intricate vision.

Greg Downey
Global Code (VANDIT)
Fine original from Greg, filling out the VANDIT sound remit to perfection. It's the hard-rocking Scot Project mix that's doing the biggest damage, though.

Third Noize
Future Sound Of Asia (CGI)
'FSOA' is an infectious, high-velocity drum and synth-stabbed rampage, the breakdown of which volunteers some highly Asiatic (and extremely languid) sounding melodies. Check!

Loverush UK
Give Me Your Love (Sea To Sun/Loverush Digital)
They might operate off the scope of the traditional trance radar, but when Sea to Sun/Loverush do venture our way, they're rarely found wanting. As much as anything this is thanks to the quality of their vocals. On 'Give Me?', Carla Werner's gets a very fine uplifting treatment from Alex M.O.R.P.H., but it's Max Sanna's stunning Creamer & K-ish prog-factor that finally wins out.

Simon Patterson
Miss You (Reset)
Patterson's regulation modus operandi is gamely swung back into effect on 'Miss You'. Kicking off with bold beats and bass, it rises up to a melodic-cum-euphoric-infused break, which is followed in turn by his now-signature twist - the pummelling tech-trance outro. Perfect set conversion material, it'll see the track fill out many a main player's set list. Remix still missing, but unlikely to be far behind.

Southside Spinners
Luvstruck 2010 (High Contrast)
Filthy Rich, Benny Royal, My Digital Enemy and Proc & Fitch all have their remix say on the re-release of Marco V's 1998 career sign-in. V's own 'Revixed' version is a very well tuned update but its Cliff Coenraad's nothing-short-of-excellent 'Re-Pimp' that bags the gold. Bringing a killer new minor line in to partner the still-fresh original lead, he builds an almost unnerving level of tension at the business end of the break. Head-spinning stuff!
