Awakenings announces new small-scale techno festival, Upclose
Donato Dozzy, Rebekah and more will play the two-day event this May
Dutch festival promoter Awakenings has announced the launch of a new small-scale techno event, Upclose.
Scheduled for the weekend of 18th and 19th May, the event at Spaarnwoude-park just outside Amsterdam is intended to offer a more intimate experience than the large-scale main Awakenings Festival, which is scheduled for the weekend of 5th to 7th July.
Upclose's first day will take in sets from the likes of Donato Dozzy, Rebekah, FJAAK, Ricardo Villalobos, Sandrien, Héctor Oaks, Yazzus and Spekki Webu. Sandwell District are also set to play live.
The following day will feature sets from Overmono, Joris Voorn, Ogazón, Akua, Ryan Elliott and Francesco Del Garda. Dasha Rush and DVS1 are listed to play b2b, while Nina Kraviz will play a special house set.
