Created to house the annual summer party for the Federation of Swiss Architects, kooky design studio Bureau A has created their very own inflatable nightclub.
Titled Shelter, the pitch black inflatable building features a functioning bar and dancefloor, plus a blow-up DJ booth, alongside inflatable tables, chairs and cosy alcoves.
Crafted from PVC and easily deflatable, the structure can be packed down and whisked off to a new location whenever desired — it was last used for the Federation's summer party in Geneva.
Bureau A is the latest in a series of architects to experiment with combining inflatable structures and recreation. Check out this epic Cloud Pavillion by BIG and this bubble-like structure by Spanish architects DOSIS.
