Afro house mainstay Da Capo's latest EP is called 'Bakone'. Listen to it below.
The title of the South African producer's new five-track offering means "People from the North" in Sepedi, the language of northern Sotho peoples. Da Capo taps Batundi, Nana Attah, Lokau Kanza and Da Africa Deep to contribute to the Afrotech-leaning EP, out now via Genesys Entity, his label with Aquatone.
Da Capo is currently touring, with stops in Warsaw, Beirut, Tisno, Mykonos, Lisbon, TBC Indian cities and more to come.
Da Capo's previous releases include the 'Mama (Da Capo's Touch)' single and 'Return To The Beginning' album in 2021 and 2020's 'Genesys'.
