If you can't get yourself over to Singapore for this year’s epic Zoukout party, there is some aural consolation on the way thanks to this year’s ‘Defected In The House: Zouk Out Singapore ‘10’ CD. Hitting the shelves on 9th November, the CD sees Singapore’s flagship festival teaming up with house bastion Defected for a two-disc journey with Defected boss Simon Dunmore mixing one disc of deep and funky gems from Martijn Van Telden, Sebo K, Joris Voorn and Erick Morillo, while Zouk resident dj B showcases the true sound of Singapore on the second.

 “I tried to vary my set so it starts off more vocal, takes it a bit housier and incorporates some classics including X Press 2 which was a huge track for Zouk in the ‘90s,” explains dj B. “Then there’s more techy stuff with Marco Carola. I just tried to give a little bit of everything but keep the quality high. Which is what Zouk is all about.”
