Industry standard mics now available with USB plug and play

Mic masters Shure have introduced a new range of durable yet sophisticated USB microphones.

The PG27USB and PG42USB mics connect professional standard Shure microphones to any USB computer port with “Plug and Play”, meaning digital recording can be completed anywhere with a PC or laptop. Ideal for multi-track recording, the cardioid condenser microphones feature built-in headphone monitoring with zero latency and monitor mix control. This allows users to instantly hear or monitor what they’re recording through headphones and make adjustments on the fly.  Both microphones are durable enough for everyday use, yet sophisticated enough for advanced recording by the most discerning artists.

Project studios will be buzzing at the idea of a high quality plug and play mic. So too will DJs and producers working on the road or in any situation where space is at a premium.
