HARDWELL TO PERFORM AT NEW YORK’S UN HEADQUARTERS

The Dutch EDM star’s United We Are Foundation is also planning its next event...

As well as being No. 2 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, Hardwell showed his charitable side last December when he launched his United We Are Foundation by playing to over 70,000 fans at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The event was to raise awareness about the lack of education for underprivileged children living in the city’s slums.

Now it’s been announced that the Dutch EDM star will perform at an event at the UN headquarters in New York on Thursday 16th June, which is organised by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Johan Cruyff Foundation.

At the event, Hardwell will be highlighting the work he’s done with his United We Are Foundation, appearing alongside the likes of retired football player Frank Rijkaard, who will discuss how the sport can be used to promote peace.

Hardwell’s charity is also said to be planning its next event, which will continue a focus on education for young children. You can watch the official aftermovie from its inaugral event in Mumbai below.
