I. JORDAN has shared a new single 'Round N Round'. Listen to it below.

The latest track by the London-based DJ and producer (real name Jordan Tek) is taken from their forthcoming debut album, 'I AM JORDAN'.

Announced in February, the 12-track project is released on 10th May via Ninja Tune and is described as a celebration of “collective ecstasy as a mode of self-discovery” and trans joy, told through northern dance sounds like donk and hardstyle, alongside euphoric trance, house, and more.

Written for a Boiler Room performance, the donk-leaning 'Round N Round' is the follow-up to 'Close To You' and lead single 'Real Hot N Naughty', a queer anthem featuring vocals from Sex Education actor and performer Felix Mufti.

As well as an official visualiser, the track is accompanied by a DIY video.

Writing on Instagram, I. JORDAN said: "Round n Round is a tribute to the north and the sounds I heard growing up around Doncaster and Sheffield. I filmed this video whilst I had a really transformative weekend back home and wanted to connect it to the single. I used to have a hard time visiting Doncaster and that weekend changed a lot of things for me so this vid is a special archiving of that.'

I. JORDAN's long-awaited debut album follows a string of collaborative tracks with the likes of Fred again.., Planningtorock and SHERELLE, as well as remix work with Fever Ray, Romy and Eliza Rose.

Taking to social media to announce 'I AM JORDAN' in February, Jordan said: “This project has meant everything to me over the last two years, it’s enabled me to grow so much as an artist and been such an integral part of my transition. It’s my best work to date, and I cannot wait to share it with you all.”
