Interplanetary Criminal and Blanco link up on new single, 'Races': Listen
The new cut combines elements of UK garage and drill
Interplanetary Criminal has linked up with London rapper Blanco for a new single, 'Races'.
The track, out now on Room Two Recordings, combines elements of the UK garage sound that Interplanetary Criminal is best known for with the UK drill of Blanco, who also release a new solo single, 'Let Me Go/Protagonist', earlier this month. You can listen to it below.
Speaking about 'Races', Interplanetary Criminal said: "I wanted to pay homage to the early '00s darker side of 2-step garage and encapsulate the atmosphere of Manchester's colder history of bass music.
"Blanco brings his sick word play and flow on top of this 2-step tune bringing it into 2024. This one is for the culture, retaining the underground presence that we both came from."
