JAFFER WINS 2016'S MILLER SOUNDCLASH COMPETITION

NERVO present the award in Las Vegas

Jaffer has won Miller SoundClash 2016! The Turkish DJ received the award at a presentation dinner at Hyde, last night in Las Vegas. Australian duo NERVO were on hand to present the award, along with representatives from Miller Genuine Draft, DJ Mag and Aftercluv DanceLab.

The standard of competition was incredibly high, but the judges were deeply impressed with Jaffer's performance. The DJ, who has only been playing for two years, demonstrated skill and experience more common of a veteran.

In the spirit of Las Vegas, Jaffer gambled by sticking to the rolling, tech house style he loves. It's a genre that usually is hard to make work in Las Vegas, yet his clever use of vocals and familiar hooks won over the crowd at Marquee Day Club and the judging panel.

His first duty as Miller SoundClash champion was to play at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub. Once again his style and presence won over the crowd. He'll now receive a recording contract from Aftercluv DanceLab.

Panama's Demo Santana was awarded second place, and Mexico's Iker Azcue came in third.
