Layton Giordani drops no-nonsense techno on his Fresh Kicks mix: listen

The Drumcode associate is one of the brightest young talents in main room techno...

Layton Giordani landed on Drumcode with his debut album, ‘Where It Begins’, on Monday (27th February). To celebrate the occasion he’s turned in a Fresh Kicks mix, which you can listen to below.

Production golden boy Giordani first hit Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint last year with ‘Rivington’ on the ‘A-Sides Vol 5’ compilation.

He’s also previously caught the eye of none other than Carl Cox, who signed him up on his Intec label for the release of ‘Never Forgotten’ in 2015.

For his debut album, the New York-born DJ/producer turned in an impeccable selection of no-nonsense techno across its 12 tracks.

And Giordani’s Fresh Kicks mix presents business as usual in that sense, demonstrating exactly why the 23 year old is one of the brightest young talents in main room techno.
