MYSTERYLAND WILL BE THE FIRST FESTIVAL TO HAVE A VIRTUAL REALITY LIVESTREAM
Boldly going where no festival has gone before...
Mysteryland festival, which takes place this weekend in Holland, will be the first festival to be livestreamed in 360-degree virtual reality.
Music fans around the world will be able to use their virtual reality headsets, Google Cardboard or mobile phones to watch festival performances in glorious 360-degree virtual reality via the festival’s Youtube channel.
Set to perform at the two-day festival this weekend will be Apollonia, Boys Noize, Dave Clarke, Detroit Love: Stacey Pullen & Carl Craig, Diplo, Don Diablo, Green Velvet and many more.
As well as the unique virtual reality livestream, there will 360-degree videos of both days shared through the festival’s social media channels to give fans a chance to experience the festival in a completely new dimension.
There will also be VR experience for festival-goers too, with what the festival is calling: The Living Room: A Virtual Reality Experience. Located on top of the iconic pyramid of the festival there will be an area set-up where visitors can relax and at the same time not miss any of the action during the festival.
Mysteryland is billed a bold fusion of music and arts, with this year’s mainstage designed by American Kate Raudenbush, who is best known for her work at Burning Man Festival.
Mysteryland takes place on Saturday 27th August to Sunday 28th August 28 in The Netherlands.
