Italian producer reworks '80s classic into dancefloor killer.
Pirupa has something of a knack for crafting tech house dancefloor killers.
The Italian producer has an impressive track record with three Beatport chart-topping releases (2009’s ‘Sweet Devil’, 2010’s ‘Get Funky’ and 2012’s ‘Party Non-Stop’) to his name.
His latest single — another sure-fire contender for Beatport domination — that we’re premiering today, sees him rework a classic. ‘Spin Me Round’, which samples the vocals of Dead Or Alive’s '84 classic, has already received the backing of Marco Carola who’s been keeping a dub to himself up until now.
Pirupa’s take sees him beef up the track’s bassline and tease legendary chorus before letting loose for a powerful sing-a-long moment.
