Serato DJ adds Denon DJ PRIME 4 support

Serato have added support for the Denon DJ PRIME 4 to their DJ Pro software. They've also added support for SC5000M Media player via a new update to Serato DJ Pro – version 2.3.1. Once connected in controller mode, the PRIME 4 pulls through info from Serato onto its 10-inch touchscreen, allowing users to browse and load crates without using the laptop screen. Serato's six effects can also be controlled from the OLED screen. 

“We are thrilled to be able to deliver Serato DJ Pro’s support for two incredible pieces of DJ hardware from Denon DJs Prime series'' Chief Strategy Officer Nick Mclaren said. “Our software’s support for this hardware has been much awaited, and we can’t wait to see it being used out in the wild.” The rest of PRIME 4's features, such as the two mic ins, performance pads, XLR, zone and booth outs and DVS ready inputs are also available to Serato DJ Pro users.
