Watch Steve Angello close Coachella set with unreleased Swedish House Mafia track, ‘Lioness’

Steve Angello ended his Coachella set with an unreleased track from Swedish House Mafia, known to fans as ‘Lioness’.

The DJ debuted the track on the festival's Sahara stage on Friday night (12th April), with Skepta and Peggy Gou among the other the artists playing that day.

You can watch a clip of Angello playing the track below, via the Raving Reviews Instagram and Dancing Astronaut. Fans of have pointed out that different versions of this track have been floating around in the Swedish trio's sets for some time, though the mix Angello played at Coachella has seemingly never been played out before. 

Coachella takes place again next week, 19th to 21st April, at the Empire Polo Club Indio. Check here for line-up info and set times.

Last August, Swedish House Mafia aka Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso confirmed that a new album was on its way. The single ‘Ray Of Solar’ landed with a video that September and in November, the trio began rolling out new track 'Not Yesterday' in their live sets. 

This forthcoming album will be the follow-up to 2022's 'Paradise Again.'

Last year Angello revived his Buy Now alias with Sebastian Ingrosso and released the two-track single 'Church', with 'Speak Up' on the flipside and both featuring Italian duo PARISI.
