TOP 50 TRACKS OF 1996 ACCORDING TO DJ MAG’S HYPE CHART

Back in the ‘90s, DJ Mag’s Hype Chart was the definitive dance analysis of the biggest tracks compiled of votes from over 500 of the world's biggest DJs.

Artists including Danny Rampling, Norman Cook, Smokin Jo and Dave Seaman all provided their picks to DJ Mag on a fortnightly basis, with the resulting chart published in DJ Mag.

At the end of the year, all the votes were compiled to make the Hype Chart of the year.

Below is the top 50 tracks of ‘96, including 20-year-old anthems from Heller & Farley, Lisa Marie Experience, Robert Miles, Livin’ Joy, Todd Terry, Underworld and many more.
