WATCH THE TRAILER FOR SKEPTA DOCUMENTARY, GREATNESS ONLY

Skepta: Greatness Only is out 19th December...

Skepta — grime pioneer, Mercury Prize winner and now the subject of a new Apple Music documentary. You can watch the trailer for it below.

Filmed during the build up to his sold out 10,000-capacity show at London's Alexandra Palace earlier this month, Skepta: Greatness Only tells the story of Skepta's rise to the top of the grime scene.

Written and presented by his sister and Beats 1 anchor, Julie Adenuga, and directed by previous collaborator, Matthew Walker, the film features archive footage and interviews with Skepta's brother and mother — JME and Ify Adenuga — Semtex, Pharrell Williams and more.

"It really means the world to me to be able to tell people this story, and to tell it properly," says Julie via press release. "I’ve watched it from the very beginning, I’ve seen his highs and his lows.

"The reason I wanted to make this film is because of how inspirational his actions are and how much belief he openly has in himself, a belief that has pushed him to headline the biggest show of his career, just a few years after being at his lowest point.”

Skepta: Greatness Only is out 12th December, exclusively via Apple Music. Watch the trailer below.
