IZOTOPE OFFERS FREE AUDIO MIXING MASTERCLASS

iZotope are makers of some pretty cool plugins, and now they’re offering a free audio mixing masterclass taught by award-winning engineer and producer, Enrique Gonzalez Müller (Kronos Quartet, Nine Inch Nails, Los Amigos Invisibles, Jason Newsted) and Mastering Engineer, Professor and Director of Education at iZotope, Jonathan Wyner.
In the new, five-part series of online video tutorials, they’ll outline 10 tips for developing good habits as a mixer, while Enrique demonstrates by mixing a song by indie garage rockers, The Rare Occasions.
Whilst the focus isn’t all about dance music, the lessons will be invaluable to anyone wanting to improve their mixing skills, plus learn a thing or two from the pros.
Anyone can sign-up for the course on iZotope’s website, and each video lecture will be sent directly to your inbox on Mondays throughout January and early February.
The courses are running now through 6th February and the videos will also be archived online after the initial run of the masterclass.
