Chris Carrier is something of an unsung hero of the burgeoning French house scene.
Along with Apollonia man/Lola ED head honcho Dan Ghenacia, Carrier has delivered a series of mind-bending collaborative cuts, including ‘Blue Stick’ from their recent ‘The Blue’ EP and ‘Vaporized’, which featured high on DJ Mag’s top tracks of 2016 list.
But as a solo artist he continues to push his tripped-out trademark sound that crosses elements of minimal and deep and groovy French tech-house.
He continues to put out discerning producers on his Adult Only imprint too. His forthcoming release from Pierre Codarin is a prime example, with ‘AO47’ featuring another magical rework from Carrier and Ghenacia.
He’s also an incredible selector to boot, his DJ Mag podcast demonstrating exactly why he is one of the most exciting talents in France right now, with Carrier delivering 80 minutes of music that refuses to let your attention wander.
