When Digital Brighton threw open its doors back in September 2007, it not only breathed new live into the legendary arches of the former Zap Club but it dragged Brighton clubbing sweating, grinning and raving into the 21st century.

It was no easy task, of course. Kitting Digital Brighton out with the same attention-detailed technology as its Toon-side forefather required thousands upon thousands of pounds of investment but the result is a bricked rave den that is equally at home showcasing live acts like The Presets, MGMT and Digitalism, as it is the booming basslines of N Type, Sinden and Foamo or indie dance icons like 2Many DJs and Erol Alkan.
