Café D'Anvers
| NEW ENTRY

A monument to honest Belgian clubbing and Antwerp's own underground institution, the intimate Café D'Anvers is situated slap bang in the middle of the city's red-light district. Opening in the acid house era of '89, what was originally an outlet for house music later broke from its tradition and now hosts nights under the Cocoon and Circo Loco banners, as well as a regular Buzzin' Fly party.

Soma's Silicone Soul are amongst its biggest fans and also mixed the recent Café D'Anvers mix compilation - 'The Sound Of The Underground' - which including tracks from Stimming, Sei A and Silicone Soul themselves.

"Full of history, this place is a bit like the Sub Club in Glasgow," believe residents Silicone Soul.
