Anzuclub
| NEW ENTRY

From the futuristic strips of D-Edge to the elegance of Pacha, Sao Paolo's club scene is the most thriving in South American but it is Anzu that can claim to have planted the first seeds.

Opening back in 1997, Anzu's split-level mezzanine matches a sleek modernity (the main room has its own sushi bar) with a consuming warehouse electricity. Find names like Mark Knight, James Zabiela, Axwell and Gui Boratto here.

"Anzu takes me back to my old days raving at the Hacienda," beams Timo Garcia. "The sound and lighting is immense and the expansive open lay-out means people are dancing on many levels, in every direction you look. It's electric every time."
