Warehouse Project

RESPONSIBLE for the most prominent underground parties in Manchester between September to NYE every year, Warehouse Project is nothing short of a national institution. Down in the depths of a giant car park underneath Piccadilly train station, WHP's charm is its dedication to sublimely insane line-ups every year.

While its lifeblood during its four-and-a-half year existence has predominantly been techno, more and more genres have been incorporated over the years. Certainly not immune to the rapid mutations of electronic music today, the creep of dubstep derivatives in all shapes and sizes has become increasingly apparent on the massive flyers plastered about the city during the WHP season. Jamie xx, Modeselektor, SBTRKT, Zomby and Actress are just a few of the names that appeared among the many eclectic line-ups that showcased the biggest in dnb, trance, electro, house with a splash of indie thrown in.
