GOOD things come in small packages, especially in the case of Harry Klein. Simply put, the venue's size only adds to its character. Swapping the oft-tiresome nature of mainstream clubs with sweatpit intimacy, this Munich club, with just a dancefloor, balcony and chill-out area, is certainly not short of charm. Besides, love blossoms when only a few people rub shoulders with the DJ, doesn't it?

It's not only the snug confines of this room that guarantees Harry Klein's vibe. Fitting a soundproof "room-in-room" structure based on eleven springs under its soundsystem six months ago, the speakers can now be pumped a few extra notches, allowing clubbers to lose their heads even further. Add to this wall-to-wall screens of trippy visuals and psychedelic projections and a soundtrack put together by some of the underground's finest - Adam Beyer, Len Faki, Butch, Marcel Dettmann, Art Department, Ben Klock - and you've got a cheeky little club that's worth checking out if you so happen to pass through Munich. As Oliver Huntemann puts it, "It's like a thrill ride - kind of outer space - small but fantastic".
