DC-10
| NEW ENTRY

THERE'S plenty to get jaded about while in the clubbing mecca of Ibiza, but DC10 isn't one of them. Pioneering the minimal sound, which swept away the island's legacy of happy house, its parties in an old aircraft hanger maintain a touch of lawlessness on an island dominated by millionaire superclubs.

After opening again last year after a year of closure with an exciting selection of residents - Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and Dyed Soundorom - this season promises to go even further, reputedly recruiting New York house legend Kerri Chandler, who will no doubt help shift DC10's sound towards the more organic, disco-informed side of house. "The people, music and vibe at DC10 is like no place on earth," says Alex, one half of Circo Loco residents, System Of Survival. "It doesn't matter about any other club on the island for us, there is nowhere else as cutting edge or experimental as Circo Loco."

And, despite ongoing battles with the authorities in the past few years, recent form suggests it will remain a permanent fixture. So, grab your biggest shades and get involved.
