GREECE has an uneasy relationship with dance culture. For every uber-cool venue, like Athens' Blend club, there's a Rhodes hellhole full of lobster-sunburnt tourists confirming every horrific clich about Brits abroad.

But Cavo Paradiso, located on a picturesque cliff-top on Greece's party island Mykonos, is different. For a start, there's the breathtaking outdoor location built from locally sourced natural materials, and dancefloor surrounding a huge pool, and those line-ups, that have featured everyone from Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin to Dennis Ferrer, LTJ Bukem and Danny Tenaglia, making Cavo not only the envy of the rest of Greece, but the world.

Then there's the crowd, who go absolutely bananas, creating one of the best club atmospheres on the planet, and are clearly passionate enough to vote for Cavo in their droves, if the venue's leap in the poll this year is anything to go by.
