The latest single from 'Still' comes with a video dealing with fashion, celebrity and voyeurism

Erika De Casier and Shygirl Ex-Girlfriend

Erika De Casier has shared a music video for her recent single, 'Ex-Girlfriend', featuring Shygirl. Watch it below.

Directed by Isa Castro-Cota and Tiff Pritchett, the clip references a 1996 Kate Moss and Nick Knight fashion short, 'The More Visible They Make Me, The More Invisible I Become', which was itself inspired by the Vogue editorial, 'Courrèges Edge'.

Dealing with ideas of voyeurism, celebrity and catwalk culture, the visual shows de Casier styled in pieces by futurist French fashion house Courrèges. The continuation of a collaborative relationship that began with the artist performing at the brand's Copenhagen Fashion Week Dinner, they also worked together on a show at Paris Fashion Week.

'Ex-Girlfriend' is lifted from de Casier's recent full length record, 'Still', which landed on 21st February as a follow up to 2021's critically acclaimed 'Sensational'. Combining elegant electronics with late night R&B, the new record has produced two other singles, ‘Lucky’ and ‘ice (ft. They Hate Change)’. It also features appearances and input from N, Blood Orange, Jonathan Jull Ludvigsen, Carl Emil Johansen, Niels Kirk, Christian Rhode Lindinger, Nick León, Kirsten Nyhus Janssen, and Tobias Sachse.

Next week, de Casier will embark on a lengthy North American tour, calling at Montreal, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Seattle and San Francisco, among other cities. She will then appear at both weekends of Coachella, before heading for European dates in Amsterdam, Brussells, Berlin, Paris and London. A full scheduled of shows can be found below the video.
