Radiohead's 'OK Computer' recreated using Nintendo 64 game sounds: Listen

It follows a similar reimagining of another of the band's albums, 'In Rainbows'

Radiohead's 'OK Computer' recreated using Nintendo 64 game sounds: Listen

Radiohead's 1997 album 'OK Computer' has been recreated using sounds from games that were released for the Nintendo 64 console.

The creation is the work of YouTuber on4word, who has reimagined the tracks of Radiohead's classic third album with sounds from games such as 'Super Mario 64', 'The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask', 'The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time', 'Golden Eye 007', 'Banjo Kazooie', 'Yoshi's Story' and 'Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards'.

A YouTube video featuring the recreations, which you can watch below, also comes backed with visuals from the games that were used to remake the album, which has been given the name 'OK Nintendo 64'.

The album tracks 'Airbag', 'Subterranean Homesick Alien' and 'Fitter Happier' have all been recreated using the 'Super Mario 64' soundtrack, while the rework of single 'Karma Police' features sounds from 'Star Fox 64'. 'Let Down' and 'Electioneering' were reproduced using sounds from the two 'The Legend Of Zelda' games 'Majora's Mask' and 'Ocarina Of Time'.

The recreation follows on from the same YouTube user remaking Radiohead's 2008 album 'In Rainbows' solely using sounds from 'Super Mario 64'. He's also previously recreated tracks by likes of Aphex Twin.
