Someone has recreated Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' album using sounds from the Nintendo classic 'Super Mario 64'. Listen to it out below.
YouTuber on4word shared the 42-minute project, titled 'In Rainbow Roads', to their YouTube channel on 14th January, since garnering more than 140,000 views at time of writing. Each of the 10 tracks from Radiohead's hit 2007 album is covered using background music and sound effects sampled from the 1996 video game.
on4word's archive features nearly 20 video game-audio recreations of indie and electronic music. Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada appear to be their other favourite artists to cover in addition to Radiohead with sounds from 'Super Mario 64' and 'The Legend of Zelda'.
